Why support us?

The Pembroke Centre costs over £80,000 to run a year.

We do not charge for our services nor do we receive public funding.

We therefore rely on increasingly imaginative methods of fund raising and an army of volunteers to keep the show on the road and we hope you will want to support us too.

Here's how you can:

  • Assist our fundraising team - Fundraising
  • Make a donation of money or equipment- Donations
  • Adopt us as your Charity - making regular payments through your salary, perhaps with help from your employer, or by direct debit.
  • Sponsor a horse or pony
  • Adopt a Pony
  • Join our 200 Club
  • Raise money through your own sponsored activities. Some past examples are described in our Fundraising Stories
  • Leave a bequest to us in your will.

If you would like to talk to us about providing help please pop in to the centre or contact us

We are hugely grateful for the financial help we receive, both big and small, from a variety of people and businesses.  Without it we couldn't continue our work.  It would be impossible to list all those who have supported us financially, and some would be embarrassed if we did.  However, we would like to mention just a few, as evidence of the range of donors who have assisted us.

Elizabeth Burgin - Legacy from her estate
E.R.L Jones - Made a donation to cover the cost of a heavy horse
Lodge of Innocence and Morality -Donation to the Centre
Oswald (Ozzie) Henry Lake - Ozzie made a very generous bequest in his will
QinetiQ Fire and Rescue Team - They mastered the "3 Peaks Challenge" with sponsorship for us.
Senior Members of the Hamptworth Golf Club - Charity of the Year for 2012
Shrewton and District Dog Training Club - They help us to raise money e.g. with their panto "Snow White and the Seven Woofs"
