The Wilton RDA relies entirely on volunteer support and funding. We receive no government funding nor do we charge our riders. It costs over £80,000 annually to run the centre.
Yet volunteering is not one way - without exception helping out in this positive, dynamic and rewarding environment benefits the helper as much as the helped. as these comments testify:
"Friendly, fun and supportive - we are a family" Alice, Instructor
"It's so rewarding seeing those beaming smiles on the faces of riders and volunteers" Caroline, Trustee
"We run on love" Pat, founding member
"I love the horses, being part of a team and seeing people achieve" Claire, Senior Instructor
"The lovely people here have been such an amazing support to my child and myself - thank you" parent
"My daughter continues to progress with her confidence, mobility and horse riding skills - I could not be happier" parent
"The best thing about here is everything" Jade, Volunteer Coordinator
"The pleasure and benefit it brings to our riders - I love it" Di, Volunteer
"Its a friendly and fun place to be" James, Volunteer
If you would like to become a volunteer why not come and visit the Centre to see the difference you can make.
